| The West Islip Fire Department is proud to be recognized for 20 years of hosting blood drives in our community.
Over the past two decades, together with our incredible donors and the New York Blood Center, we have hosted 67 blood drives, collected 3,622 pints of blood, and helped impact an estimated 10,866 lives.
This recognition is not just about the department — it’s about every single person who took the time to donate and help someone in need. Blood donations save lives every day, and we are honored to continue serving our community both on and off emergency scenes.
